
Swanner started working in law enforcement in the 70’s, went to the Police Academy in Albany, GA in 1978 and worked with the Donalsonville Police Department until 1986 when he resigned and went to work with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office as a road deputy. He was a graduate of Seminole County High School. Swanner was born in Donalsonville, GA on Apto Edward Colon Swanner and Barbara Moulton Swanner. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening, Mafrom 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be members of all law enforcement agencies. Interment will follow in Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with members of the Georgia State Patrol Honor Guard serving as active pallbearers.
